Privacy
Your questions are personal. We treat them that way.

The short version
- No accounts, no sign-up, no ads, and we never sell data.
- Your chat history is stored only in your browser (local storage). Clearing it deletes it.
- To answer you, your messages are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API. We don’t store your conversations on our servers.
What we process
Your messages. When you ask a question, the recent turns of your conversation are sent from your browser to our server and on to Anthropic, which provides the Claude AI models that generate answers. Anthropic processes this data under its commercial terms and privacy policy; see anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
Operational logs. Our server keeps short technical logs — time, which model answered, response time, token counts, and whether a safety check triggered — so we can keep the service reliable and affordable. These logs do not contain the text of your messages or answers.
Feedback. If you tap 👍 or 👎 on an answer, we record the rating (and an optional reason you type), without the conversation itself.
Rate limiting. To prevent abuse, we temporarily count requests per IP address in memory. These counters are not stored long-term.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand overall usage: page views, approximate location, device type, and anonymous product events such as “a question was asked”, the language it was asked in, how long the answer took, or whether a source link was opened. It never receives the text of your questions or answers. Advertising features are switched off.
Voice features
Voice input and read-aloud use your browser’s built-in speech features. Depending on your browser, speech recognition may be processed by your browser vendor (for example Google or Apple). Saarthi only receives the resulting text, and only if you send it.
Children
Saarthi is intended for users aged 13 and above. Users under 18 should use it with a parent’s guidance.
Your choices
- Delete any conversation from the history panel, or clear all chats at once.
- Use your browser’s private mode if you don’t want history saved at all.
