Why “Saarthi”

In the Gita, Krishna does not fight Arjuna’s battle for him. He becomes his saarthi — his charioteer — and helps him see clearly enough to act.

Not a guru, not an oracle. A steady companion that helps you think, and points you back to the teachings — and to the people who can truly guide you.

How it works

Like asking an elder who has listened to every satsang.

  1. Mann bahut bhatakta hai, kya karun?
    01

    Ask in your own words

Type or speak — in Hindi, English or Hinglish. Anger, exams, family, grief, naam-jap, or anything weighing on you tonight.

  2. मन बार बार भटक जाता है, ऐसा क्यों ?
    नाम जप में मन नहीं लगता
    मन को कैसे वश में करें
    02

It finds the closest satsang answers

Saarthi searches 4,834 Ekantik Vartalap answers for seekers who asked something similar, and the Gita for the verse that fits.

  3. Maharaj Ji explains that the mind wanders because old impressions surface during bhajan 14:32 — keep returning to the Name.
    03

You get guidance — and the source

A warm, practical answer with one thing to try today, and the exact moment in the original video so you can hear it yourself.

Bhagavad Gita · 2.47

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन ।मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि ॥

Your right is to your work alone, never to its results. Do not let results be your motive, and do not cling to inaction either.

तुम्हारा अधिकार केवल कर्म पर है, उसके फल पर कभी नहीं। फल को कर्म का कारण मत बनाओ, और कर्म न करने में भी आसक्त मत हो।

FAQ

Questions people ask before they ask.

Is Saarthi Shri Premanand Ji Maharaj?
No. Saarthi is an AI. It never speaks as Maharaj Ji or claims his authority. When an answer draws on his public Ekantik Vartalap satsangs, Saarthi says so and links to the original video, so you can hear his words yourself.
Where do the answers come from?
From two sources: an index of public Ekantik Vartalap Q&As (built from the videos’ captions), and the full Bhagavad Gita. Saarthi paraphrases what is relevant, cites it, and adds practical steps. It can still make mistakes, so please check the source when something matters to you.
Is it really free? Do I need an account?
Yes, it is free, and there is no sign-up. Just ask.
What happens to my conversations?
Your chat history is stored only in your own browser. To answer, your messages are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API; we don’t keep a copy of your conversations on our servers. See the privacy policy for details.
Which languages can I use?
Hindi, English and Hinglish work best, and Saarthi replies in the same language and script you write in. Voice input supports Hindi and English.
Can I trust the Gita references?
Saarthi has all 701 verses of the Bhagavad Gita, with the Sanskrit and plain-language meanings written for this project. For each question it finds the verse that fits and may cite only that — it is not allowed to invent verse numbers. Tap any reference in an answer to read the verse, or browse the full Gita.
Who is building Saarthi?
Saarthi is an independent project by Rahul Chandna. Read our story.
